My recent stay at Het Weeshuis in Bolsward was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the enchanting lights in the garden, creating a fairytale-like ambiance. Our suite, with its spacious layout and tasteful decor, felt more like a luxurious apartment than a hotel room. Opening the doors to our private terrace revealed a stunning view of the garden, where we could leisurely enjoy the company of the resident donkeys.The attention to detail in the design and furnishings, such as the cozy sitting area and the beautifully crafted parquet floor, truly elevated the experience. Every morning, we savored a delightful breakfast spread at a communal table, fostering a sense of community among guests. The recommendations from the friendly owner led us to explore charming spots like Bakkerij Van Der Werf and BY Pimpe within walking distance, adding to the overall convenience and pleasure of our stay.What impressed me the most was the seamless blend of historic charm and modern comfort that Het Weeshuis effortlessly embodies. The tranquil atmosphere, coupled with the warm hospitality extended by the staff, made us feel truly at home during our visit.
